Idea for book

So, for my book, I want to do something to do with either facts or statistics or possibly both. I'm basing my idea off of Snapple facts and from the quote I read somewhere "62% of all statistics are made up". With snapple facts (that is, facts that are printed on the underside of the caps of snapple bottles), some of them are true and some are not, but they don't tell you which ones. Combining that with the idea that statistics could be COMPLETELY made up but people might believe them simply because statistics seem official, I want to come up with a book of facts/statistics. I would take pictures that illustrate the facts (maybe not literally illustrate them, but clearly have something to do with them).

I can't decide yet if I want them all to be false... I have an idea: make half of them real and half of them not, then at the end of the book, have the last fact say "only half of the facts in this book were true." (and who knows if THAT fact is true or not?)

I would title it "TRUE FACTS" with the true having a line through it like that, which kind of illustrates the idea.

Any thoughts?

EDIT: other possible tweaks/additional ideas- use cliches (that may or may not be true) and illustrate them.. Or superstitions? I like that. Like, a black cat, or someone stepping on a crack. Just caption them with "bad luck", "good luck," or "make a wish"
